Ashkhen Beglaryan

Ashkhen Beglaryan is lecturer of Political discourse and Analysis of political processes in Scientific-Educational Center of Information and Public Communication Technologies at Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences since 2015, February.
She was senior specialist of the Department of Information Security and Strategic Analysis in Staff of the National Security Council (2008 Sept. - 2016 Oct.).
Ashken was trainer of “Leadership and civic activity. Leader of public opinion” course in Konrad Adeanauer Foundation(2014 Feb. - March) and lecturer of Essentials of Sociology and Political Science in French Lyceum in Armenia (2014 Feb.- July).
In Armenian Political and Social consulting centre (AP&S) she worked as a coder and quality tester of sociological researches’ data (2006, Oct. – 2008, Jan.) and in Armenian Sociological Association (ASA) – as an Interviewer, coder, supervisor, assistant on different marketing, evaluative, qualitative, quantitative surveys, in-depth and expert interviews, focus-groups (2005, Jan. - 2008, May).
Ashkhen participated in the 5th Edition of the World Forum for Democracy together with participants of 21 Schools of Political Studies of the Council of Europe (2016, 7-9 November); in the second Berlin Forum: “In Search of Lost Universalism” organised by the Association of Schools of Political Studies was held in Berlin on (2016, 17-18 October); in PR Regional Training Session on open and transparent communication for law enforcement agencies” /European Union, Eastern Partnership, Integrated Border Management Capacity Building Project/ (2016, June 21-22, Minsk, Belarus).
Ashkhen completed MA Degree in Sociology, Department of Sociology, Yerevan State University (2004-2006). The public defense of the Dissertation aspiring to earn PhD in Political Sciences took place on February 21, 2017 at National Defense Research University, MoD RA. The topic of the thesis is “The civil society within the context of national security of the Republic of Armenia”.
