Dr. Moniza Waheed

Senior Lecturer Department of Communication, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia

Dr. Moniza Waheed obtained her Bachelors degree in Communication specializing in Corporate Communication from UPM, her Masters degree in Communication specializing in Persuasion from Western Illinois University,

Received her PhD in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam. Her research interests include Political Communication, Journalism, and Intercultural Communication.

She has published articles pertaining to her research interest in several international peer review journals. Her most treasured experiences are of her interning as a speech writer at Bursa Malaysia and as an in house journalist at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. She enjoys spending time with her 9kg baby cat Adonis and re-watching tv series such as Sex and the City which she claims is part of research for understanding human behavior.
