Dr. Alexandra Borissova
German Chancellor Fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, visiting researcher in the Scientific Communication group at Rhine-Waal University, RVC's Communication Lab Project expert (Russia)
Alexandra Borissova is one of the leading experts in the field of science communication in Russia. Since 2008, she has been active in science journalism as a reporter and editor of leading Russian news outlets (TASS news agency, Gazeta.Ru). She has also been involved in science PR as the first Head of Communication at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, as well as in SciComm teaching (ITMO and MAMI universities) and community building (co-founding AKSON - the first professional SciComm association in Russia). In 2016, she became one of five Russian winners of the prestigious German Chancellor Fellowship for tomorrow’s leaders, and is currently working on her research project focused on SciComm in Russia in an international context.
